- the smell of newly cut grass
- bare feet
- snail mail
- summer breezes
- blackberry cobbler (with ice cream!)
- the movie rental place down the street
- the sound of the train
- summer rain showers
It's summer, friends! It's so nice to be home from school, though I do miss you 3SE and 3CE girls! For me, the highlight of the past week was finally being able to see The Great Gatsby. It was beautiful (as I expected) and the only complaint I have is that they didn't flesh out some characters as much as they could have. Still, it was wonderful. What was the highlight of your week?
